When i was a lot younger I took this pic of this stem tractor just north of Yosemite Nt. Park on CA. 49 (Motherlode hwy) I would like to know what make it is for my own records.

Walt, I looked for it in Encyclopedia of American Steam - Traction Engines, and it looks to me like it's a Best. Maybe a 110 HP? It was made in San Leandro Ca. A Caterpillar plant is now located where the Best factory was. Jim
 
I seen a picture of one of them stuck belly way in the mud.They were attempting to tie 6x6 timbers across the drive wheels.
