I have an oliver 1750 w/problems. It acts like she is getting too much gas, blackish rich smoke, fouling plugs, and all around running like crap. The carb is freshly rebuilt, new fuel pump, new points(set properly), and no vac. leaks that I can find.

First of all which carburetor? If A M-S how did you check the acelerator pump? Did you put a vacuum gauge on it to check for this vacuum leak?

I know you probably already checked it,but have you changed your air filter lately?
