i have a oliver 1750 diesel narrow front amd puttin 18.4-34 pressed rims on it pulled the 3pt arms off and sway blocks will i be able to make the 7500# class?

thanks ill give that a try and how hard do ya think it is to get my 1750 down to 7500?

I honestly don't know how hard it would be to get a 1750 down to 7500. My 1800 with a Hercules 478 engine and a fabricated steel frame and front axle weighs about 6,500 with me on it. It has no 3 point, pto or hydraulics. It does have a roll cage though.

wow def looks like ur running some serious power there ha but im just trying to figure this weight out once i gte it all back together im gonna go across a legal scale and go from there, i was looking it would be easier to make a 3/4 plate steel front frame rather than mess w all the small stuff but they made give me crap for doing that and gettin in the farm stock, our rules for farm stock require working pto and hydrulice.

We mad 7500 the other year with out 1750 with a 1950T engine in and narrow front. We got rid of the 3pt, fenders, cast grill (used fiberglass), metal pan seat, sway blocks and all weight brackets. I think we took the battery out and left in only a few gallons of fuel in the tank. Pulled 4th gear. We also had on 18.4X38 tires that were ground. Your 18.4X34's should probably be 100 lbs lighter.

when ya pulled that did you have pressed rims on the rear? i have the 3pt hitch off, sway blocks and front weights off but have to leave the fenders though caus of safety rules

Yes, we had tin rims. You could get a set of 88 fenders and a piece of angle iron to make a light set of about 15 lbs each, vs close to 75 lbs.

We actually borrowed it. We have one we made out of wood also. I seen fiberglass grilles advertise somewhere, but can't remember where. Call Maibach's and talk to Brad, he may know.

thats what we were thinking to make it out of wood and paint w a textured look to resemble the cast but ok thanks!
