Oliver 1800 fuel filter

I have a 63 oliver 1800 Diesel Took off the NAPA 3165 secondary fuel filter. NAPA says it no longer made but that a 3166 replaced it. Tried 3166. No go. Tried WIX 33165. Won't work. The gaskets roll out and leak. I've read that the 3166 won't work on the older tractors but can't find any advice on what WILL work. Looking for help.

WIX made the NAPA 3165 filters for a long time, the WIX 33165 should have worked, as NAPA dropped the first digit of the WIX number on the NAPA filters.

Can get the WIX 33165 to seal. The Napa 3165 and 3166 are structurally different. There is a 3165 on eBay.....but $90. Hoping someone on this site had a warehouse of them or a "for sure will work" alternative to the 3165. We already cremated the old 3165 but pulled it's carcass out of the stove. It's quite a bit different than the 3166.

As far as I know that filter is now only available from AGCO. Part number 609689AS. I know is no longer available from Wix/NAPA, or Baldwin. Don’t remember if we tried Fleetgaurd for one but we are moving back to all AGCO filters anyway.

Ok good. I didn't want to get an AGCO and have same leaky results. I'll get the AGCO. Thanks......
