Not much. If you can find someone in your aera that still use them, maybe they could use it for parts. Other wise, you would be lucky to give it away.

I believe we're talking about a manure spreader. I have not seen an Oliver spreader hauling anything more than loads of wood or scrap iron. Besides NOS parts, they have to be all but obsolete.

Without a picture it's pretty much a shot in the dark. Someone's fair may be another's junk and so on and so forth. As fair I would say good wood with obvious wear and good metal but may be dinged and dented some. Tires would be average and beaters are complete but pitted probably. Decals should be visible but dried. If you were anywhere near Eastern Iowa I would definitely be interested but pictures tell the most of the story. I did see a 480 sell this spring at consignment. It did bring $1200 but I do believe this much overinflated on price and don't think they could duplicate this price again. I would say $500 is fair since that what most other spreaders in fair condition are bringing in this area and maybe a little more if they are ground drive. Email me and I can give you a better idea.

Whatever it takes to save it from going to scrap!!! Yes, they're just manure spreaders, not glamorous I know, but what a fascinating piece to have in a collection. This would be right up there with the same vintage hay and forage equipment and the mixer mills and would be a great addition to a collection of 00/50/55 series tractors. And you just don't see them period.
