A museum I belong to picked up a oliver 80 on a trade (which it seems we got the short end). The thing has cast hubs and 40 inch rims with bad tires. What are our options? Anybody know where I can get 40 inch tires or can I put a different hub on the tractor?

Thanks.

I have a real nice matched set 40 that are on a 70 now that I would sell 1000.00 with rims. or you could put hubs on and put 38" rubber on.I have hubs for a 70. Ron cell 207-890-6867

Very early 80"s had same axle as 18-27, you have several options, change the rear castings and use ones from 70 that use 36 inch rims and use the 80 hub(will take lots of work) then you can use 38 inch rims and tires, Unstyled A JD has the same axle size as the later 80 so wheels from one of those will fit also. other options also but these look the best.
