Oliver 88 manifolds

I have a cracked exhaust manifold. Is there a manifold that would be considered an upgrade to my worn out factory piece? Looking for something that might increase flow. Same goes for the intake manifold. Its going on my puller.

Yes for the exhaust and no for the intake. I used a 1650 exhaust manifold on my 88. The intake is limited by the carb mount size. Since my 88 is a 1949 it uses a smaller hole spacing for the carb. than the later 88's and I was only able to find 1 place that had the correct manifold. I think that was Ag Parts First. The 1650 exhaust manifold was quite a bit heavier than the original exhaust manifold.

So I should look for a 1650 exhaust manifold then? Cool, I can do that.

I don't know the exact year of my 88, I have it in my head that it is a 48 or 49 for some reason. I am looking for a better breathing intake manifold because I am getting a lot of condensation and sometimes frost on the manifold above the carb. I know that it doesnt really hurt anything but it is a sign of a restriction.

Any pullers out there want to share any secrets?

So put a bigger intake on it (like a 1650) as well. You will need a larger carburetor
