Oliver 88 tractor

1948, Oliver (Not Case) industrial mod.88 tractor loader, engine may have a cracked crank, yet it runs. Kept garaged, worked hard but maintained for half a century. Ware loader but we keep the bucket. It's going down the road to the scrap dealer unless someone picks her up for fourteen hundred. Easily picks up more than twice what a Kubota can lift. Looking at the picture unless the rear case has been changed it is newer than a 48. It has disk brakes.

You could probably get more for it from a collector than a scraper. Steel around here isn't going very high.

Have you lost your mind thinking of scraping this??? this isnt 1975 anymore. That tractor appears to have some unique Oliver components that are not common to most Olivers. I know someone that may be interested in this tractor.

Concerning the serial number, the owner, which isn't me, has painted this tractor at least twice, and meticulously preserves these ID plates. He does not recall one on this tractor. We'll search some more.
