Oliver Cummins Project

Well, cleaning it all up, starting to go back together, here are some pictuers of our FFA Chapter, AG MEchanics class working on it. SHop is small and tight but we have several great projects going on.

Lots of pictures, hope you enjoy, Hope to have it back into a rolling chassie next week.

1750 gas engine. Ran but head was junk, crack all the way across the top of the split head. Need Parts?

We are selling everything extra. Next the tractor in pictures is a 310 that is completely rebuild for another 1750.

Will have two nice tractros when we are done.

Sure wish our local FFA Chapter would do this. I have a couple of projects I offered to fund if they could use the experience.

Declined both times. When I was in FFA we couldnt wait to redo rigs for the local ranchers. Guess times have changed or just not much call for Ag Mechanics here in the Piney Woods.

Shep,

We have two classes for Ag Mechanics and we do everything from complete restoration (one raffle tractor a year this year is a 1952 Farmall H ready for paint her in a couple of weeks) to fabrication of equipment parts. There are a lot of students who are not the "College" Type that will be working on my cars, building structures and paving roads. I feel everyone should know how to change oil and do basics, and some really get into it and create really nice machines. This one will not get done this year, but will be a nice tractor when it is done. Only 29 days of school left and we are also working on a AG ED Department facilities to be improved this coming year as well. Thanks for the support, and I love working on iron with students see the great progress.
