Oliver fleetline question

If a person were to look at an Oliver 66,how would you know wether it was a 66 or a Super 66 by looking? What are the differences, aside from more power.

Also, what did Oliver offer in the way of hydraulics on these,if any? This one I've looked at doesn't have hydraulics on it,I don't believe.

The easiest way I know is that the supers have two flat mounting pads on each side of the frame and one on the nose with tapped holes to mount cultivators, etc and the regular fleetlines just have the pipe holes for the earlier cultivators...

You asked: What are the differences, aside from more power. There are many little differences many of which are internal.

there should be two flat spots by the pipe holes if its a super. on the hydraulics dont buy a 77 hydraulic unit because it wont fit.

Also, if you're lucky enough to have original side hoods, a 66 has full side hoods over the engine while a super 66 has cut-out ones. This is risky though, since they can be switched
