Oliver model toWhite

I understand that a White 1870 tractor is a cross between an
MM front and an Oliver rear. Does anybody know what model
Oliver has the same transmission. The 1870 is suppose tobe a
90 hp.
 
Why did you ask? I think I still have a parts book for an 1870. I know the ring & pinion is different to compensate for the slowering running MM engine. I don't know without looking if the tooth count is different on any of the the other gears. Also 17, 18 & 1955 gear trains are not all the same.
 
Thanks for your reply. I am not sure about the diff but it sounds logical. I just finished replacing clutch and had problems getting info for the tractor.I appreciate your info
