What number was the oliver sickle mower with 2 back wheels? Is there a tag somewhere on them. These were probably made in the 1940 to 1950 range.

The No.82 has two wheels.

If it is that old there was also a 22 series.

The 82 usually had white wheels the 22 had red, the early 82's were red though

The 22-B mower was made in the late 40s and early 50s. Most had a 7 ft cut. This model was painted red and had two caster wheels. The 22B replaced the 21 model which had one caster wheel. The 82 mower followed in the mid 50s and had up to an 8ft cut. It also had two caster wheels but they were wider spaced than on the 22B. The 82 had a draw bar on the back to pull a conditioner. The mower gear box had a "carry through" power take off to power the conditioner.
