Oliver pull type chopper

Did oliver make a pull type chopper and if they did does anybody have some pictures of one or know where one is for sale.

You mean a forage chopper? If so yes they did. Model 830 Nice chopper. Where are you located?

Well this chopper is about 15 minutes from Yoder & Frey, so if the man got tired of looking at it it might have gone down the road. I used to go by there at least twice a year and may again in 2 weeks as I have to work out that way.

Hey thanks alot. I'm curious how much horsepower does it take to run one? Do they have one or two row corn head. Where hes located is an area i travel threw alot.

Located if still there in Northwest Ohio about 15 miles south of Turnpike. If it the one we sold the owner pulled it with a 1650, but it was set up with a 1000 RPM PTO. The key on horsepower is keep good sharp knives in it.

Oliver also had a Model 200 Forage Harvester before the 830. I have a piece of literature dated 1957.
