oliver speed??

How do i get more speed out of my oliver super 77 for pulling.it has a diesel rear end that is all i know about the rear end. i have enough power but im wanting to go faster than what i am is the some kind of gear you change or what? thanks steve

no im running 3rd and 4th gear but theres a fellow that we pull with thats good a tractor like mine perty well identical but he can run almost 2mph faster than i can in the same classes and are motors are the same. so what i figure is that it is in the gearing?

yours probably has a 9/48 ring and pinion and his probably has the 11/50 ring and pinion. the 11/50 is very common and easy to change. good luck chuck

Get a Ring and Pinon out of a 77 standard. That will speed it up.
