olvier 1250 high crop?

does anyone know if oliver/fiat made a 1250 high crop, or seen one? i have a 1250 that has a front end that has different style front spindles on it than are shown in the parts catalog (very tall). it also has 36 inch rear tires/rims, which are considerably bigger than the ones the 1250 parts catalog i have shows, which are 28 inch. the rims on my tractor are the bolt on rims, not the power adjustable rims. any help is appreciated.

I was looking at a sale coming up in PA and their is a oliver 1360 high crop in the sale. McGrew Equipment is having the sale.

There was a nice one on bay a month or so ago. I wanted to bid but it was in California also there was a 1250 1265 or 1350 in Oragon a few weeks ago

good to know, this oliver 1250 i have must be a high crop then, i had no idea they made such a beast. any ideas on how many they made? i'm finding it hard to find a whole lot of data on the 1250 other than what is presented in my parts catalog, which doesn't tell me much. does anyone know where the serial number is stamped on these? this one is one of the fiat diesel 4 cylinder 1250 tractors. i looked around, but couldn't find one. the little tractor runs awfully good, it just wont start when its cold without a little help.

Ijust went to look at a 1365 Oliver High crop in Utah,It had 9-42 rear tires and rims that were welded to the original 28 or 30 rims,on the front it looked like the spindals had been lenthenedto raise the front upto match the rear, Iwas told that many of these tractors were bought and a local blacksmith made them high crops,for the row crops in central Californi.Iwould have thought that if these tractors were made at the factory they would have ordered them that way,this one was shipped from central california,nice little tractor for 2500.00
