HAVE A TWO CLYINDER ONAN IN A SKIDSTEER JUST CHANGED THE OIL NOW WHEN YOU RUN IT A WHILE IT BLOWS BLUE SMOKE BAD FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN RUNS OK USED 30 WEIGHT ANY IDEAS? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Need to know what engine you have. Did you also clean the breather valve. I have seen some B 43 engines do that after an oil change. Never found out why. What oil did you use.

THANKS FOR THE REPLY ITS A NHC-NHCV INDUSTRAIL ENGINE USED TRAVELLER PREMIUM HEAVY DUTY OIL SAE 30 API SL

HAD THE SKIDSTEER UP ON JACKS IN FRONT WORKING ON FRONT HYD. VALVE COULD OIL IN ENGINE SOMEHOW GET UP IN EXHAST VALVE CAUSING THIS SMOKE?

Sorry about the oil thing. I got CRS. Don't see how just having it up on jacks would put oil in the system. Is there any oil in the air filter or the intake system. How many times have you started it since the oil change.

just ran it awhile and no problem thinking oil bypasted valve seal while front was up and was burnt up while running just did it three times anyone think this could happen?

I had that happen, In my case, one spark plug somehow got fouled with oil. Clean the breather, recheck the oil, try two new plugs and hope that is all that is wrong. Also check for a pinched oil return line. Don't think your weight of oil is the problem.
