i done dood it. snap on guy was just here ....got me that new bad boy xt7100 1/2 drive impact. 700lbs breakout force...just a lil under 4 bills!!!!!! bring on the rusted bolts!!!!!!!

I got both that one & the 3/8 drive in snap on i like them both they have a vairable speed if u can hold that button in softly, had mine for yrs now with out a single problem, Im 100% sure U will be happy a friend of mine got the ing rand same time i got my snappy & he always came over to use mine he liked it better...

No kidding my dad has a 1" that if you can keep air to it it'll rip your dang hand to pieces if you let it, also got a 1/2 ele B&D drill that he was using on a ladder over his head and the torque snapped his wrist into 2 pieces.

Your making me feel cheap. My cheater bar only about what I cut out of the scrap pile. $400 a shock to the system. My problem isn't rusted bolts, it's rusted, frozen, hit till they break or come apart parts. Hope that bad boy don't create more problems than it solves.

in the process of replacing the whole front drive on a super duty 4X4 diesel, leaf springs and all. this truck is kicking my butt. cheaters, torch, 3 different 1/2 impacts, so i says the heck with it!!!! bought a big one. 3/4 drive is too heavy and too bulky to schelp around, so i took the dive. but man oh man, does this thing got gutz!!!!!!!

Do yourself a favor and don't use it and spend your money on a IR brand. We stopped buying snap on's impacts their junk. I got sucked it buying a Shock Wave from snapon in '99 and an old CP that had a bent handle from a combine running it over took off whatever the Shock Wave couldn't. chris

You havent seen an impact driver, until you've seen the one my dad has for switching tires aroung on his semi. It has about a 1" drive impact, and weighs about 50 lbs. It has two handles to hold on to it. It looks something like this.

I have a 1/2" IR Titanium ....what a deal.....not 4 bills worth but still a heck of a wrench....

I have 1/2" air impact.. seems to do the job for me. But need to get me some bigger sockets and wrenchs. Regular set just don't cut it for some bolts on my tractor.

Hey Glennster I bought a Snap-on 1/2" impact wrench like that in 91 and it also was rated @700ft/lbs. It still goes good and I love it . It was money well spent . You should never regret the purchase. All my Snap-on tools are used well and respected. 30 CC

Use those impacts day in and day out, all day long and nothing lasts like a Snap On.

IRs and CPs are the lower end of the ladder and considered throw-aways. Never, ever saw one last longer than 30 days or so with continous, heavy use.
