My Original IH carb has a warped top cover. Can't get gasket to seal anymore, and when it rains carb get water in it.
Do any of these China carbs you see on Ebay work on the old 1950's C-60? thank for any info.

Depending on how badly warped, you may have some success placing a piece of sandpaper flat on a sheet of glass and smooth the surface. I've done it on several old carbs.

I had thought about sanding or grinding. But it is bad was hoping to find a replacement parts carb or Thoughts on the China carbs?

Is top aluminum? Or cast iron ?
JB weld aluminum belt sand it flat or flycut the top on the mill .
Last another 75 years .
Got a TIG ?
I refuse to use a 20 dollar carb if I can fix the original.

I brought a cheap carb for my Farmall C on the site hear probably 10-12 years ago. I assume it is a cheap China knock off as it was only about a 100 bucks at the time. I haven't done a thing with it and tractor has always run good although I don;t use the tractor much, just for club events. Tractor runs good and even won the club tractor pull with it a week ago.

To answer your question. Yes we have used a dozen or more of the Amazon carburetors for Cubs. We buy non running Cubs, fix them and sell them. Many times the carb is missing. If you can find it ( supposedly out of stock) the Kipa brand works awesome, perfect straight out of the box. But we have used other brands with good results, too. There was an issue with one batch a few years ago that had a hole that didn't get drilled through.....easy fix. But we haven't seen one of those is a while. Any questions feel free to call, text or message me on this site. Happy to help! **** Your original got overtightened and warped, guys have built a jig to straighten them. Sometimes it is too far bent to fix right 😔.
