OSATPA meeting

Due to the inability to purchase stamps because of the rate
increase the post office does not have any,I've been trying to
purchase them for almost a week now! Back to the subject at
hand the meeting will be at 2 pm at the concord community
center 3263 north st state route 560 Urbana Ohio 43078.

Maybe if you would offer an explanation of why you
moved it would clear things up. The officers didn't
act real excited about telling the members about
the move or the reason for it. Yes being anonymous
is a good idea with the witch hunt going on about
the rd motors. You shouldn't let a little criticism
get your dander up. As far as it being closer the
club has members from all over the state.

Wow! How could an informative post go to negative posts? RD motors? Change of venue? The officers weren"t excited? I hVe been to some meetings and I realize everyone has opinions and have their right to their opinion, but if you have questions about the club, come to meeting a voice it. If you would rather not speak during the meeting...call/email one of the officers. Don"t post on a social media page. It just makes our club look bad and childish and it is NOT. But if you would like my opinion and need more to post about... Here goes..... 1. It is my understanding the current officers (b/c no one else would step up, which means there would not be a club right now ) are doing the best they can with the tools they have. The equipment that was used in the past years was sold and the osatpa was not even offered to buy them. A catered meal was bought for the last meeting. Which did not leave a lot of money for the new officers to work with. So I think they do not have the funds to buy such equipment to make a track! And that"s why it is taking place in concord. 2. As for the RD motor... If the rules show it can be pulled, than so be it!! I don"t know how true this is, but I have heard that every tractor will be teched before it pulls!! So .... That means if you are following the rules and your tractor passes... There is no such thing as a witch hunt!! Good luck to you all! And be sure to do your homework!

The equipment that was sold belonged to the people who sold it not the club. They let the club use it and used their own tractors to run it so it was up to them if they wanted sell it.

Thank you for clarification on the equipment. How are you supposed to be able to build a track without it? You can't. So, I think they made the only choice they could. Schedule the pulls at Concord, where the equipment is already there. That only makes since to me, right? How is the club supposed to pay for equipment? To my knowledge, no one has stepped up and volunteered anything. I think they can only do as much as they can. I know that you can't make everyone happy, but I think being educated on the truth is key.
