Any one have a clue what it would cost to relocate a smaller barn(roof/loft/possibly bottem level 10-20 miles. Also costing for moving a 18 ton cone bottem feed bin about 7 miles.

Distance is a minor factor, unless you run into a lot of overhead lines. Big cost is at each end.Had Marcus Construction, out of Prinsburg, move a 40 x 75 shed one mile some years ago, from one of my farms to another. Cost $4500, took two days. REA crew was under $200. Biggest expense on the cone bottom bin is the crane you need at each end, maybe $90-120 per hour to lay it down and raise it up. Bought a 1600 bu wet bin a few years ago, already down, owner put it on my trailer, hired a crane at home to raise it. Around STC- check with Landwehr Moving. Also one in Paynesville (not Bork anymore), or google for Otting movers.

There was a group in our local town that wanted to save a one room school and a small church beside it it was going to cost them 19000 a building they raised the money to save the church and moved it to the local old threshers ground where they will maintain it.
