Having to replsce rear tire on farmall 400. not all of the fluid leaked out when the tire and tubed was puntured. How do I safely dispose of that liquid? Jim

I sell Calcium Chloride to put on dusty roads to keep the dust down. Works good. Be sure to drain the fluid in the other tire, it is dangerous to have ballast in only one side.

DOn't put it near any good pine trees!!!!!

I near killed two of my favorite when the tire valve decided to fall out while leaning on the tree one night.

Just one word of caution: if you drain it out of one tire, you better take it outta the other one as well. For our work tractors, we wouldn't ever dream of taking the fluid out. The only one that doesn't have any in right now doesn't need it anymore so it's dry (oliver 1600 I restored and use on the blower- no more heavy field work)

If it's a loader tractor or you use it on hills, put it back in or you risk rolling it over or just severely loosing traction. The only reason rims rust out is because people don't fix a leak when it happens, they let it eat away at the rim then gripe about having to replace the rim later on.

I guess you dump it out all over the roads as that is what they are now doing in Ohio in winter and our cars and trucks are getting eaten up.

I saw bottled water with calcium chloride in the ingredients. One of the minerals used to enhonce the flavor. I think it was nestle brand.
