During harvest I've been driving a '99' International 9400 semi with a 465? cummins, and if it's shut down warm and then re-started the yellow check engine light will come on and about a minute later the red engine shut down light comes on and a few seconds later the computer will kill the engine. It will start up right away after recycling the key, but it will do this three to six times before decides to keep running for good. It does not do this when started up cold. The antifreeze level is good and the oil pressure is in the 30 - 40 lb range depending on RPM's. Went to the dealer with it about a week ago and he scanned it with a hand held and a lap top. They cleaned some wires, including the pattery cables and sent me on my way. The problem came back right away but we've been running hard and I haven't had the chance to take it back. Anybody have any ideas? Coolant level sender? Oil press sender? RPM sender? It's not running hot. It does this whether it's been shut down for one minute or fifteen minutes. It's very unnerving to pull out on the highway trying to beat traffic and have it conk out halfway out. Jim
