OT Genie garage door opener - programming?

Have a Genie door opener. Two of three remote controls seem to work fine. Believe the third needs to be reprogrammed to the receiver. Been a while since I tried to do this. Can anyone remind me how this is done, (Short of a electrical cattle prod in unpleasant places?)

Another question: Genie uses what they call "rolling code" to prevent unwanted openings from other controllers, miscellaneous other rf sources. Anyone know how this is accomplished?

The genie I saw had a button on the opener itself and when you pushed it I think an led started blinking. At that point you pushed the remote and they linked up. I am not sure about multiple remotes that you seem to indicate.

I am going on my memory but I think with the door behind you the button was in the upper left corner of the drive unit.

Rolling codes are a part of the chip manufacturers chip system. Microchip calls it KeeLoq (a trade mark) code hopping.

RWT has it right.Press the button on the drive moter and the lite blinks, aim your remote at the drive and press the button.I just installed my a couple of weeks ago.As easy as pie.
