ot got some rain

Been waiting about 2 weeks but finally got some more rain yesterday. About 1 " total, the ground seemed to soak it up pretty good. Hope the rest of the east got some too. This summer was starting to worry me.

This summer has a lot of people worried. Some markets are flooded because people are selling off cattle, afraid they'll have to feed them before much longer. Beans & corn are barely growing & its not fit to plant - too dry.

what's rain. we haven't received any appreciable rain in over 5 weeks, also been 90 degrees or over nearly as much as all of last year.

heard on the radio yesterday that for this time of year it is the dryest in kentucky since 1895. Ouch

gotta rain sometime, hope soon......

we got about 1/2 inch of rain last night east of winchester.

Need much more....

Southeast of Morehead 35 miles,just a sprinkle .All of the storms go North or South of us no good soaking rain since the last March .HOPE we get some soon ,Steve

I'll be happy to send you some of what we are getting. I would like to have some of it back in July and August however when we are usually high and dry. I'm sure you all have probably seen on the weather channel or whatever what we have been getting north of dallas in Grayson and Cooke county and all surrounding counties as well.

20 miles south of henderson we go a half a sprinkle Monday night, not enough to read in the gauge but enough you could see it in the dust of on the truck windshield. 7 miles east of me the got .4", of course that is where I had 10 acres of hay cut, ready to be bailed. Never did get any rained on round the house, would not have fussed if I did!

Got about 0.4 yesterday. Felt good to work in the barn and just listen to it. No rain for two weeks before that so really needed it. Hope the rest of you guys get some too.
