OT: Mole chasing windmills

Do those little metal windmills actually keep the moles away? Wife hears they work, but of course her source nor she does the lawnmowing. Leonard who has one heckavu busy mole or a whole family of them.

They sell lots of windmills! Must work. But i like the Rodenator, as shown here last year! A bit noisy, and the moles had taken to wearing hearing protectors, but if ya could sneak up on them, and set it off, it got results!
Maybe you could rig up a miniature pile driver, one that you could turn on at night! The neighbors might bark a bit, but the moles would leave!
I have found that a few cuttings of the grass will mash down the tunnels they make, and by summer, they are mostly gone.
Get the stuff that kills grubs in yer lawns, apply it, and the moles will attend somebody else's lawn party!

Had about an acre of yard reshaped by dozer last fall and hired a fella to use a gee whiz machine on his skid-steer to level and rake up trash. Then he drilled in grass seed. Well nothing much came up before winter, then this spring a mole or moles made the whole place look like the veins on the back of my hand! The soil is loess-like, very soft so the critters could cover a lot of ground on one tankful! It further aggravates the erosion on the slopes, though. Talk about getting used to the noise, I tried a plastic owl hanging in the rafters to deter the sparrows but the owl just got covered with sparrow sheet. Go figure!

PUT PEANUT BUTTER ON A MOUSE TRAP AND SET IT NEXT TO AN ACTIVE MOLE HOLE. COVER THE TRAP WITH A CARDBOARD BOX FOR THE NIGHT AND BINGO YOU HAVE THE MOLE IN THE MORNING. KEEP DOING THIS UNTIL YOU KILL THEM ALL. I HAVE TRIED ALL THE OTHER TRICKS OF THE TRADE BUT THIS ONE WORKS BEST.
