OT-sorta-494a John Deere planter

Hi,

I know I could use the implement section, but this has to do with
a Ford NAA. I located a 4 row John Deere 494a planter, pull type
and am asking if anyone has any experience with them and how
they would work with my NAA. I have a one-way selectrol valve
on my NAA that I have never used, but I haven't had the tractor
long. Would this set-up lift it?
Should I cut it down to two row?
Can the be converted to three point easily?
I have a 13-1 Dearborn Cultivator. Would this work with it? (pull
type vs. 3 point)
Has anyone messed with this or should I just keep looking for a
? planter?

I should have also stated that I would mainly use it for the usual hobby type stuff like sweet corn, sunflowers, maybe food plots in the future. I will not be using it to make a living, hopefully.
