Has anyone recieved their "Bush Check" in paper form yet.How much will Married couple recieve combined 600 or 1200? Thanks and be healthy. R.M. In AL.

Mine was auto-deposited several weeks ago. $1500 = married filing joint, plus one dependent (my 18 y/o got his own check separate). Put a chunk in savings, the rest went to 8N parts.

You should get it shortly. It's 600 per person and addtl. 300 per dependent.

Got my paper check on May 19. Time depends upon last 2 digits of SS number. Check IRS web page.

Got ours $1495.00 for wife and I and three year old dependent. Got three grand back from taxes. We are saving all of ours and not going on vacation this year. Hope to be building a house in a few years after nnalert gets in.

Actually, the stimulus payments vary according to income and the number of dependents. The scheduling of payments is determined by two things: Whether your refund on your regular income taxes for tax year '07 (if you have one coming) is electronically deposited into your bank account or mailed to you. The stimulus payments are the same as your refund. Direct deposits went first. Checks are being processed, but it takes longer. The payments are sheduled according to the last two digits of the social security number (SSN) of the first person named in the tax return. This means that no area of the country will get their stimulus payments before another.

YOU MUST FILE a tax return for the tax year 2007 in order to get the stimulus payment. This is true EVEN IF you would not normally NEED to file a return

Best thing to do is to NOT spend it 'till you get it!

Actually, I thought the whole Idea was to spend it and get the economy going. I plan on helping Milwaukee out,don't know if I will make it to The Vagas strip,strip or not.

Last digits of my SSN are '01 so we got our paper check a couple of weeks ago.Bride and me got hair cuts the same day and some new under ware.We look good and feel good.No more low hanging holey drawers.After filling up the gas tanks and buying a few graduation and bridal shower gifts we're back to being broke.We,the brides and grads all benefited some from the free money.I'd like to see it become an annual event.We bought goods marked as "made in the USA",except for the gasoline,nothing from China or WalMart,which I consider the same.

I would like to know HOW some of these people got so much money.!!!???

The wife and I got $300.00 each for a GRAND total of $600.00.!!!!!
STIMULAS........I don't think so. Called my tax man, and he said I did not have enough deductions claimed, and that my income was not high enough.
I guess it was better than a stick in the eye!!!! But.......not much better.
