I had never in my life driven or worked on a 430 until just a couple years ago. After looking at a few in a friends collection I was convinced we would enjoy owning one of these smaller CASE tractors. After finding out guys were buying tractors on Ebay, I thought what the heck, lets give that a try. That is how I bought this tractor and it was in the state of NY. A trucking firm was located and price agreed with a delivery time of approx. 4-6 mo. That was OK, for the quoted price I could wait. When the tractor finally got to MN, much to my surprise the truck was also carrying another 430 destine to a good friend only 20 mi. away. What are the odds. None of us knew at the time of purchasing this was going to happen. Our 430 was not perfect, as to date a engine overhaul and trans repair along with a lot of TLC was needed. As you can see we enjoy having this little machine around and keep trying to think of different ways to use it. I hope to add a few more jobs for it like cutting and small baling some hay. It has changed the way I view the CASE product line. Back in their day these small machines did not have to take a back seat to any other colored products. My only regret is not having one in the family years ago. Rod.
