Sorry, the over flow stem at the radiator cap, is what I meant. I can see the water moving when looking down the radiator stem to the radiator it self.

(quoted from post at 20:46:40 08/17/23)ep, look in the radiator to see if coolant is moving....easy peasy(quoted from post at 18:38:34 08/17/23
Is the coolant pump moving the coolant ?
Odds are the coolant
Pump pulley , alternator pulley and fan belts are worn and slipping . Over tightening the belt to prevent slip will only tear the bearings out of the coolant pump and alternator .
A head gasket leak will fill the coolant system with bubbles and disrupt flow .
(quoted from post at 13:39:56 08/22/23) Yes, the coolant is moving but what is normal running temperature?

(quoted from post at 20:31:18 08/22/23) What? One post is about terms of saying things like overflow stem & the other was what were the ratings of the thermostats Which reading now I miss understood. I thought for some reason he was talking about the temperature gauge on the dash, how much does it go up too. My Bad. I need to slow down & read things better, lol. That's why I put looks like 240 is the max. The thermostats are 180 so I guess that would be normal running temperature. Thanks again Ted
