The other day I was a push'n my latest project to a more safe part of my small shop.

I slippen on a piece of cardboard and fell backwards and landed right on my wallet.

Ain't it SLOANS linament that we hope will cure that darn nerve that makes life miserable (socially) at least fer awhile?

I can't set very long.

Right now I am a fix'n to carry my wheelchair along in my truck. Had to tell the old brother this" thanks for allowing me to store the chair in your garage, in case he needs it.

Suddenly, I rememberer """" A man in his position can afford hundreds of NEW ONES".

Had to take my wheelchair away from HIM.

I have had the chair in the van so long that the "chair" just LIKES where it is.

I gotta becareful with...... disclaimer....non-qqualified.

If you are in the position that I am in with being the youngest of a depression era family with 7 kids, 5 remaining, 16 yrs. between me and the next up the ladder with the elders being almost 90...........

Their general conclusion is John, most of the time you are SICK in the Head. Why don't you see some doctor. Then they start fit'N which one of their doctors I should see.

I like the that I choose. HE and I are in the same life's positions, together!

Let you know. Promise By the way....the tension of having to cancel SUNDAY supper for the elders, due to weather scare is already making my rear cheak feel better. After all,
I am the "captain" of MY HOUSE, and also the cook. THey, the siblings are CAPTAINS of THEIR HOUSES. And, that is the way WE were raised. Each one to be a leader. So, when we get together, my place has always been to sit there and be quiet and just WATCH. It is amazing what a guy can learn. EXCCELLERATED Education.

Around here, the old sister will get the message within 10 min. that I was seen ordering some prescriptions, when, I was only check'n my blood pressure. NORMAL, like always.

John, I hope you back is getting better! I ran a chain saw seven weeks ago for about an hour. I have run chain saws weeks and months on end and never had a problem.

I was out in the woods in my little Toyota pickup truck and when that disc touched that siatic nerve I couldn't even get into the truck to go home. I lay on the ground for about 15 minutes and finally called my wife to come in the car to get me. When she got there I laid down in the back seat and that nearly killed me from the excruciating pain. I lay in bed dirty and sweaty for about a week before I could even get to the bathroom to take a shower. Was four weeks before I could ride to get to the doctor. He wanted to cut me! I told him I was considering it if he would cut just below my chin!

I had an MRI and it was the disc bulging against the siatic nerve which I had already decided it must be. Had a epidural shot in my back two weeks ago and now the sharp pain is gone and I can at least sleep at night.

I bought a TENS machine. That the shock thing that chiropractors use on patients. It did't help me at all! I went the chiropractor when I got well enough to ride and he tried to finish breaking my back. Actually I went to him twice in one day. It took that long for me to decide he was trying to do me bodily harm. He wanted me to come back the next day! NOT!

Go to the farmer's co-op and get some Udder cream and massage it on the sore spot. That will help a bruise. I assume that is what you have?????

Hang in there John. Us old dogs have to hang around to teach these kids what to do!

I know this sounds looney - but - try WD40.

Here's the reason: WD40 contains DMSO. This is a clear liquid that folks with arthritis rub on their painful joints, and it gives them relief. It makes your breath smell like you've been eating garlic, but folks swear by it for arthritis.

I really don't know if it will help with your particular pain, but it can't hurt (except to get some oily residue on your sheets), you undoubtedly have some in the house, and it just might help!

If WD40 doesn't do the trick, I find Theragesic to be the best Linament available over the counter.

My sciatic nerve has caught or pinched causing my leg to go numb several times. Couldn't get any relief until I tried a IGIA' ElectroSage 8 that I got from CVS. It really helped me. I put one electrode on the bone that sticks up on the lower back and another halfway between my knee and hip. I now jokingly call it my psychotic nerve. David.

Overseas we have opportunity. ALWAYS insist that they cut ri ght between the 2nd and 3rd vertrebra. Guaranteed NO PAIN.

rember about a relic from the OLD Briggs days is to come YOUR way.

Last time on that bypass around Birmingham the sun, at, 5:00 pm et. was so, so bright that the reflections off the cars behind me I couldn't see right outta my mirrors. Doing 80 mph. I started to change lanes to the LEFT. Well a young HARLEY DRIVER was able to get to 100 mph. just in time that I didn't end his day.

I have to make that leg at nite. Otherwise I could be considered "DANGEROUS".

I don't want my "reputation" soiled.

The relic will indeed git there.

Another CAPTAIN, PA NAT GUARD Actually Lt Col, RETIRED made me pee on the electric fence back on the FARM when I was only 4 yrs. OLD.

Well, he did say that that little freez'N rain wouldn't stop him from gett'N there for SUPPER.

By the way, he is the one who taught me to FLY AWAY!

Zane. Because I was an ROTC instructor at Mt. Saint Mary's College during a recuperation period after some HEAVY stuff, I asked my BOSS MAN for his permission to Depart for PENSACOLA NAVAL AIR STATION on Dec. 7. Time to be determined. He has to "fax" me back QT, QT, QT, OK, FIRST.

I feel that I still have some PATRIOTIC service work there.


My boss understands. His family elders have been MENNONITE for at least 10 generations.


I found my lady's "STASH of money while I was a house clean'N. Should be enough for TIPS.

I have suffered with the SCiatic pain in the leg since 2003. Had trouble walking from the parking lot to the store, then, if it was a big one would have to "take a Knee" several times when the pain and numbness got too bad to walk. My wife was embarrased to go out with me. Then driving 3 hours on the 1st of July that did it. Basically a limp and much more pain. I had seen the PT people of the Orthopedic Doctor and many visits, even bought the DVD and book from the Internet to cure the problem (exercise) I was one the floor exercising morning and night. GAve up found a good Neurosurgeon and the pain was relieved that same day of the surgery, 30 October 2007. Thank GOD and a Dr. Bendal. I still have some problems, but putting it off 4 years is part of the lingering problems. STeve

All that I really know is dis........My next door neighbor lady a a "complete physical (lady style) last year. Excellent HEALTH.

Just got the news "already too far gone." Not even worth try'n. And IT didn't come from SMok'N.

This lady is a caretaker at the OLD FOLKS HOME here for the qualifying LOW INCOME, and I don't mean just "made-up paperwork" type qualified LOCALS. Used to be known as "the poor house".

I don't know what causes such stuff.

DID YOU ever see rust? Well that is Mother Nature's way of reclaimation.
Hard worker....11-7 shift.
Her only concern is that her HUSBAND, good neighbor, will always take care of THEIR 2 little dogs.

ZANE--Iknow how you felt in tne woods-- about once a day I get a terrific seziure in my right hip-- cant move and almost makes me sick at my stomach.. seems to hit me more often after setting down then when I get up WOW- I have an appt with the pain clinic at local hosp with a pain specialist 8 AM THIS fRIDAY have tried chiropractor got a bit of relief-- my internal MD gave me a shot in the aerea this PM.. helps some as he said-- it would-- I understand there is an implant that cancells the pain transmission to the brain-- sorta like the white noise sound cancelling system for noises like on plane etc. there is not supposed to be any adverse effects etc.. I have been cut on so many times for darn near everything including removal of colon and reattachment of both tricept tendons at the same time-- no more knive for me I hope -- send me an E-Mail and I will let you know what this pain doc has to say or do-- hie is highly respected by my MD and also both of my sons who knopw him-- By the way I HAVE ONE OF YOUR ZANE THANGS on my 9N-- works fine MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
