Paint for Super A wheel

All

I just got a "new" wheel for my Super A. The old wheel had undergone a lot of duress. Each of the 4 internal lugs was cracked out in one direction, 3 of the 4 spots where the rivets attach had a fractured "C" shape in the steel wheel, and I had about 12" near the valve stem which was rotted thin plus a lot of damage to the wheel's OD.

I would like to paint the new wheel with something durable internally. Have used Rustoleum before but its not striking me as the best practice. Tractor sits under a good tarp year round if it matters.

I painted a Super AV a few years ago. The local Case IH dealer had the correct paint. I asked for silver paint for the rims and the parts guy corrected me - it's call "aluminum" paint. It went on fine and at a decent price. Still looks good.

I use a couple coats of what ever color
rust oleum I have on hand. On the inside.
I've seen folks use spray on bed liner or
flex seal. Shouldn't be needed on a new
rim. Or is it new to you? By the
way......i have a Ford rim with Allis
orange in inside, a Farmall rim with
grinch green inside and one with JD
yellow. Will be funny when next guy
breaks them down. Longer your paint can
dry in some heat, sunshine or by a wood
stove the less it will get scratched when
mounting.
