I got on last week concerning a 1959 fordson tractor that I purchased. I got some really good information from people and now I need something else. When I purchased the tractor i noticed there was not fluid in the rear end. I found out why this weekend. The cover that holds the rear end drain plug is broke in two. Not sure what to call it but it's about 8 inches in size bolts up with 4 bolts and has the 2 inch drain plug (rear end) in the center. Well now I need one with the plug (also no good). Anyone know where to find one or a hint about where I should look?

Just get the old one welded up.

There is no pressure in the rear end so welding should be no problem?
