What do you think? Would most pullers like larger payouts and less pulls or smaller payouts and more places to pull?

We here In pa pull for no pay out $5 a hook to cover fuel and such for the club most clubs charg $5 or $10 to join the club for ins. Purposes

Keep the money and trophy, add more pulls, lower hook fees, I pull for fun and most of all bragging rights.

If there has to be a pay-out, think of the guys that usually are there just for fun. I come from a circle track back ground, when there was a descent pay out for top 2 or 3, there was always a lucky draw lottery for some money for the 4th on back finishers, or a 50/50 of some sort

PAY Look at the KOH class how many people come to those its all about competition I would rather there be a lot of people in a class and pull once a month than pull once a week with just a few people.

I personally like to see more well organized club and local type pulls and not so many high hook fees and payout events....I can't believe the payouts, no matter how much or how many, ever really help much to defray the substantial costs of building super competitive higher division tractors. I like to see the antique out-of-the-field type tractors with just the common "overhaul type" and wheel weights modifications more than the super-souped-up-wild-puller-only antique tractors pull. I'll watch the NTPA big boys if I gotta see smoke, heat, fire, and expensive all out pullers.

Nobody thinks about when you pull for money you are considered comercial for your truck and trailer. I know I will be blasted on this but the local, state hero cop pulls you over and wants to hassle you think very carefully on how you answer questions. As soon as you tell him you won money,in his eyes your a meal ticket. I personaly would rather have low hook fees and alot to go to than get paid.

It typically costs more to get there than the entry fees even if you pull 3 classes. I'd prefer some sort of payout vs. trophies.

I thought trophies were neat when I was 12.

I pull mostly for the fun but occasionaly I win caps and shirts for the family, and thats all in the fun. If you dont sink a whole lotta money in a tractor you dont need to win much more than that.
