talked to some boys from "up north" about building a "b"....sounds like they tried some of your parts and let's just say.......NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are referring to the guys up north that I suspect you are there is no problem with their engine building abilities, I have known them for nearly 20 years, they build good running 2cyls.

Thanks for the feedback. Can you please be more specific, there are hundreds of my pistons out there poundng up and down, quite a few crank/rod combos out there and I don't recall any complaints.

I have had no other complaints except for one person "up north" as you put it, and we've discussed this. You know, the one we discussed on here a couple weeks ago that received the first (and largest) B block ever built.

I welcome the feedback, but you seem more like a troublemaker than someone looking to actually contribute anything.

In response to this comment posted on here I got asked by several people this past week-end about Ray's B John Deere pulling Blocks. What I said to them was there is a protype which we have and a revised one with the changes done to it.He is going to send us one soon.Hopefully all the changes have been made and it will work.Any time you push engines to the extreme there are things that need to be addresed. Also I believe Ray got one installed in his tractor with the 6.125 bore and it is running good.

first hand info that I got is that jd b puller 2 is indeed a pot stirrer, unfortunately his comments put Mark in the middle of this, jd b puller has acknowleged some initial problems that he has addressed

these shellum brothers from"up north" as they call it,have forgotten more about tractor pulling than i will ever know.if they say it, they mean it.i have pulled their sled before, they are fair people.finding the exact problem sometimes takes patience. thank-you.-mike a.

Well, instead of blowing hot air, give us some Details..Facts..????
What were they trying to build..?
What were the problems..(as if being a Yankee is not problem enough)..
He provides the raw parts but you have to take it from there and the end result is up to the Builder...

Ron.

First off i could care less about someone stirring the pot, i don"t even have Deeres.

"But" i like to learn about new things people are doing and coming up with, there is bound to be problems with new things.

So in short keep the "women" off here and lets here about what"s be built and how big it may be able to go.

But i know everything is a secret. So you might as well spill the beans because it will end up on u-tube like everything else.

Mark got one of the first big bore B blocks that Ray is developing, there were a few areas that needed improvement,ie: thin casting ect., according to Ray he is addressing those problems so for now let him and Mark work it out. Maybe bushhog can post his particular problem with northerners so we can get past that issue, Is it that war where the yanks cleaned your clocks? That ended for us in 1865, time to move on! We've forgiven you rebels for your trying to split the country long ago.

Sorry, I had to see where you were on the "performance" issue..!!

Development takes some time and it sure is great to see someone pushing the envelope with the 2 cylinders..!
"Antic design"..??..well, they were designed to be easy to maintain and durable..guess the ARE..!!
Nothing is as pleasing to operate and they don't put you to sleep while you are operating them..!! They talk to you every step of the way across a field..!
As for "The Slows"...I have dealt with "The Slows" in Georgia and it is most aggravating to see an employee take 3 hours to "count" 11 rolls of paper to load in the truck and NOT get it done before quitting time...!!
We used to turn a Cincinnati-San Bernadino-Cincinnati run every week in 3 1/2 days..NO "Slows" here..!!!
No, if I can just get to building my 520...!!
I gotta see one of his products pulling this year..!!
Hope it works out well for them..!!

Ron..
