I picked a couple of figs yesterday.

I picked these today, about a month an a half earlier the ever.

Not very tasty, they soaked in water for a few hours, that didn't make them taste any better at all!

Each year you make me jealous of the fruit your fig trees produce Guido . Tasteless or not they are twice the size of the poor efforts I can grow .
Possums , Cockatoos , Parrots and Wallabies take anything remotely good well before it's ripe .

Guido. One thing that would cause them to become sweeter is a cold front -and we all know thats not in the near forecast. Wingnut

Cold front? It's 94* right now. Seems like my brain is melting. The forecast is for 99* tomorrow, hoping the heat wave's last day. Last time I felt this hot was in Dallas 86* at 11 p.m.
