1952SuperC

New User
I bought a 1952 Farmall super c with no fast hitch. It came with this plow but I can't find anything like it. It has IHC markings on it. The lift mounts to the back of the tractor and there is an adjustment on the LH side and a lever to slide it side to side on the right. I haven't mounted yet. Any help would be appreciated

Suggest you try them first. If you want shot some pictures after they scour up of your results and post comments. . Where are you located ? The plows are special to north east or Canada. I forgot the name of that design.
Dylan Lynch for parts or John Gaard would know about that set up . Or plowman here on this site can help you with parts .
Watch Lynch’s YouTube videos .

I'm up in northern NY on the Canadian and VT border. Once I get the tractor running good I am going to try and mount them up.

Thought so ! Design is called sod bottom in the John Deers publication.

There are IHC stampings on the plow and part numbers but they are too old for me to look up at my work.

Good luck with your project . Knock on local doors up thata way to get to the plow bottom on this one. Never seen that moldboard design on IHC. Very special plow set up for sure , thanks for posting .

The first thing an expert will ask you is the part numbers on the plow moldboards, and the plow share ,blacksmith shares . There very important numbers on your plow you will have to find them . And have them ready when you talk about parts.

That’s Chattanooga plow works on the colter.
Your need the moldboard share numbers , there are well over 30 different shares and moldboard s on ihc plows from 1900 to 1960 . Good luck

Well, according to the catalog from 1952, it looks to be a C-295-A. A price guide from 1957 lists a No. 20 (2C-F) or a (2CK-FTC), depending on the hitch setup..... but no pictures.

Not sure about the bottoms yet.

The more I look at this I may end up cleaning this up and painting it to use as a front yard decor. I do want to get my cultivators for the tractor set up for display and parades. I don't farm, I wanted a narrow front tractor because my grandfather had a narrow front H. I didn't want the attachments to rot away or get sent for scrap when I bought the tractor.
