Wire brush on a 4" grinder, Did not get to fancy with these. Going to put them to work this spring. I am going to shine up the moldboards right before I start plowing.

Josh,

Do you have some sandy soil or a sand pile or gravel pile? My Uncle would "shine" up the plow (I now have) by pulling it thru and old mine shale pile on the farm. I have forgot what I used when I last used the plow but then when I "put it away" I bought a big can of Crisco and slathered that ALL over the shares to help keep them from rusting.

They were pretty rusty when I got them but I was surprised at how shiny they got after using them a bit. You would have to work vary to hand or machine polish them as well.

Regards,
Larry

She'll shine up pretty well once you go to plowing. Would be nice to find a set of coulters if you're going to plow sod - looks like they were on it at one time in the past.
