Poll or old members

Wow. A lot of old-timers coming outta the scrap pile.

I've been here since the days when this website was originally called ''Future Tractors''!

Hey Randy, I've been absent since November, day job has been intense until just recently, short on any spare time and or lack of good rest etc., change would be really nice about now. I guess the good thing is that I did my part working for the state to bring in a high profile, somewhat controversial, and very complex project 17 days ahead of the contractual deadline, and well within the allotted budget. This profession does just about drain ones batteries on a daily basis, does not leave much to dedicate to things outside of the daily grind as of late. Retirement and a change of pace would be the best thing that could happen in the near future, as I can't recall what it feels like to be well rested and energized like in the past.

Been here on and off since about 2002-2003. I guess that's 20 years now.
Through a move from Ohio back to Pennsylvania, then to Nebraska via North Dakota, 4 full time jobs and a stint with a custom harvester.

While I don't qualify as an old timer on the website having only found it in 2018 I sometimes feel like one. Check in on what the subjects are for the day then go to the John Deere section. Tom in Mn.

I've been here since the early nineties. Check in every morning. Been a mechanic for 57 years worked on everything from lawn mowers to semi-trucks. Grew up on 106-acre family farm, with Case equipment. I have a small tractor collection that includes a 1939 RC, 1947 VAC, 1950 SC3, 1950 DC3 w/M&W power pack kit, 1951 DC3, 1951 LA, 1956 400 Western Special, and a couple LA propane I want to take two and make one. Also have a Case Dyno, 120 and 155 garden tractors. Off brand tractors include IHC 350U, McCormick WD-9, Sheppard SD-3, and a number of garden tractors. I don't post a lot, but if someone has a question that isn't getting a response I'll jump in if I can help. Over the years this site has lost a number of talented and informative members for various reasons, but at least we have the archives to fall back on. CASE EQUIPMENT FOR EVER.

Figure that being 71 counts as being an old member.

Check Tales, Talk, Implement Alley and John Deere when I visit.

I'm still here. I have been coming to YT since I was about 11 or 12 years old in 1997/1998, reading and posting through mostly the Case, Farmall, MM, and JD forums. Originally, I went by the handle 'FarmallCaseKid', but have since abandoned that and just use my name. I've learned a LOT from those in these forums. I value the knowledge greatly.

I'm not posting much these days, but I am always stopping by for daily updates on what's happening.. Learning some things, etc. I stopped posting as much when people started criticizing my Suicide Awareness Farmall H restoration. Had a few people coming at me with an attitude - saying I was taking advantage of people, stealing people's money (donations) to restore my tractor. Try to do something good and bring awareness in a unique way, and there are always people who have to spread mud all over it.

Bottom line is, I'm still here. Reading in the background. And the H still travels to MN shows when I can get it out, with all of the awareness memorabilia, donors plaque, etc.. Not to mention the entire restoration series was chronicled on YouTube.

Ive been here since I was 14, I just turned 34. I love this site and hope its around for many many years yet.

It makes me sad thinking about some of the members that are no longer here. I seldom post but read daily.

I've been on here a few years and check in daily. I have gotten to meet several guys on here, some I have only talked on the phone with or emailed, and have made several new friends. Several I wish I could have met, and several I hope to meet. Lots of great knowledge from folks here, and sadly we have lost many great guys but very thankful of what they shared and what I learned from them.
