Pony Generator

Just put fenders on my Pony. Man, it's hard to squeeze in there now, and I'm just a small feller. Any of you Pony owners have a recommended way you climb up in there?
Main question: who can do an overhaul of my generator? Mine's discharging when it should be charging, so battery always runs down.

Sounds like a bad cutout. Did you polarize the generator? If your cutout is bad it is not in the generator. I will send more tips if I get your e-mail address so I will send you an e-mail when I get back home. J.

I climb up from rear. Step on draw bar then into seat. I always get off across fender and tire. Just jump off.

make sure your battery is hooked up right. remember it's positive ground.

as for getting on your pony . if you have the lift arms , right below the brake pedals , i bolted a checker plate step to the arm. sure makes it easer , an safer getting on and off.
