Yes, she is a 10 year old German Shephard (Onyx).
The best one of 5 that I have owned.
If I could post video, I'd send movie of her...opening 'fridge door--grabbing beer can from bottom shelf--and bringing to me. THEN she goes back and pushed door shut with front feet.
Quite the entertainment when I have a my summer hog roast in the barn and I tell her to "Get me a Beer". The people at the party just about CRAP when I do the trick the first time.
I only hope that I "train" my daughter to be so obedient. Ha ha Ha Ha

When we were little, Dad would run us around on the upside down hood of a 52 or 53 Hudson Hornet.
Dad raced Hornets in the 50's. Mom tells us stories of Dad buying BEAUTIFUL used Hudsons off of older folks, then taking them out back and setting the interior on fire to clean them out for racing.
Kind of makes ya cringe a little doesnt it?

Mark,
The subject should be "Practical mans snowmobile".
Can you work ground with a snow machine? Can you plow snow with a snow machine? Can you tow loads of hay, wood, people with a snow machine. Well maybe. I think i'll stick to the tractor, i can use it year round. I was pulling my 2 kids yesterday. I have my St. Bernard "Ollie" Chasing me these days, used to be a boxer named Maddie.
Check the archive for "winter fun on a fergie".
Good fun! John Mason

Link to sledding video, my oldest boy is pulling my 2 youngest.
