That's a pretty good observation Bill.
A lot of them shouldn't vote either.
But they do.
So come join the fray.
You wont be the biggest sap on this board.
You'll just be the newest.

(quoted from post at 21:33:42 04/21/11) The Founding Fathers said people needed to be land owners to vote. I believe they had a reason for that.
..becaue, if a voter has nothing to lose, he will vote for every thing that comes down the pipe that puts un-earned (by him) money in his pocket! We are at that point right now of more receivers than payers.........back to third world status is quickly approaching.
Just as planned.

Hey, that is a great line of old tractors. I see you are from the great state of Missery as am I. Just bought my first tractor ever about 6 wks ago. 49 8N front mount. Have learned alot just reading this board. Love to check out your collection sometime. Thanks, Bob

half the people that post messages here, should
not own a tractor.

Everyone who wants a tractor has to learn when they get one. Lots of folks who own tractors don't really have any idea what they are doing with it. Nothing wrong with that. Bet the first time you picked up a wrench you didn't really know what you were doing. We are at a point that the average person don't know how to change the oil in their car. But I learned when taking the ASVAB to join the Army in 74 that there can be a lot of right answers to a question. One question was "do you know what to do if your car will not start". After the test I ask one of the girls who had taken it how she responded. She said she put down yes. So I had to ask and was told "Call a tow truck. They can jump start it and if thats not the problem the driver can usually tell you what is wrong". I walked away from that with a different perspective. She did indeed know what to do given her knowledge of a car. Her answer was just as correct as mine given the circumstances.

I've got nothing against anyone who is trying to learn. And for those of us with some skill and knowledge are not willing to share those skills they will go away. Plus many good tractors with go to China.

(quoted from post at 09:07:59 04/22/11) Rule #1 also applies to the gun safe. Never NEVER let her look inside.

"Honey, just how many guns do you HAVE?"

Doug

Some of you guys worry about everything. My wife know how many tractors and guns I own! She always says I have enough but never says anything when I get another! In the last 12 months I got my 8N, a JCB tractor loader backhoe, a Ruger mini 14 in 6.8 SPC a Colt 1911 and a Ruger Mark III 22. Looking for a Ford in the 35-60 HP rnage now and planning on one or 2 new guns this year! Plus I got a round baler and haybine in the last 2 months!

I would think if they all said that, that maybe all the founding fathers would have put it in the bill of rights or the constitution. I personally believe if you can pay taxes and die for your country then you can vote in it too. But I believe in democracy too.

Doug - how true. when I bought my last one a few years ago, she questioned why I had to have another one. I told her I really needed a new turkey gun...... Thank the Lord I didn't have to tell her what I paid for a 12 gage magnum Benelli Black Eagle - great weapon - has killed every turkey I have shot at for several seasons - they don't get away any more.

Y'all know that some people are alive only because it's against the law to kill them. :)

I used to be lean and mean; now I'm just kinda fat and sassy.
