Power steering cylinder

I have a 971 the power steering leaks bad does someone have a good used one? Does anyone rebuild them close to Iowa? Any other suggestions??

The power steering cylinder on the 900/1 series Ford tractor is unique to that tractor. Don't know that they were ever duplicated. They usually leak as the cylinder rod rusts and a new seal will not hold. A new seal kit is $250.00 by they the way. The only repair that I have heard of or seen is to cut the cylinder ,and replace the cylinder rod with a new rod made from bulk chrome rods available at a a hydraulic shop and weld the cylinder back together. Done it once, 10 years ago. $180 and a seal kit at 35.00. It did work!!!
