She will be home with you soon. My dad has had diabetes for over 50 years, and colitis for 30 years. If properly managed and regular Dr. visits are followed, he lives a pretty normal life. Only people who know him really well know about his sickness. The average person on the street could never tell. Pray and wish the best for you and your wife.
