pressure washer

I picked up a 5 horse Craftsman pressuer washer at a yard sale. The engine runs fine but I can't get anything more than a soft stream of water out of the wand. What should I check first. I have the owners manual but it is pretty usless.

Does it have the nozzle tip in the end of the wand?

not familiar with craftsman, but my pressure washer has a tendency to stick the check valves if not used frequently. check your owners manual or parts manual if you think this is your problem the answer may be in there and just over looked

yes the wand works fine on another machine. I switched it to see.
What if this thing had water in it and froze?

pump is most likely shot. Had the same experience with my own.

The pump is probably shot. I forgot to winterize mine one year and the pump acted just like you describe. I bought another pump and bolted it up to the motor.
