I just bought a WD. It is complete, but doesn"t run. The previous owner started a little restoration work. My Dad has a WD and a WD-45. I thought this might be a fun project. I am new to restoration work. I would appreciate any thoughts on where to start, manuals that would be helpful...etc. THANKS

First Id try to get it running and see if you have any oil leaks or need to do any engine work. You can get manuals on here that will help out.

I just got Operating Instructions for Allis Chalmers Model "WD" Tractor on eBay and wish I had bought it two years ago immediately after I bought my WD.

Operator manual gives you info on lubes, controls, hydraulic adjustments, etc. I&T AC-11 is the service manual for that tractor. I think it"s available here, also most any farm store like TSC, Fleet, etc.
