I don't have a problem with the appraised value of any of the houses. I don't have a problem with the total prop tax on any of the houses. Just curious how the county portion could go up on some and down on some.
Im pretty sure you need to ask the person who sent you the tax bill. Im not sure why you are asking us this impossible question to answer without all the facts.
 
There are a lot of reasons why different properties in the same city might be taxed differently. We have two rental houses in Sterling Heights, MI; one house is worth at least 100K more than the other, yet their tax bills are almost identical. The main reason is they're in two different school districts. It shouldn't be too difficult to figure out just by comparing the tax bills; the devil is in the details.
 
I have been in front of the board of review a many a time when there are more than one its a no win, when its one on one I have always done better. Its full steam ahead to recover from the housing bubble of 2007/08 before the next bubble.
