Question for Case Nutty

I know this should be on imp. forum but it is a Case. I would like to know what model and maybe the year. My nephew bought this at Bridgeport NE. They were going to scrap it. It looks like it could go right to the field. Having trouble getting pictures to upload. will try later.

A lot more personal and location friendly there. Goes by his given name there.

It could also be a WRA. Case built severeal variations of the oneways.
There was the WR, WP, WS, 70series, and 80 series, all pull type. Then there were a host of Eagle Hitch models.
The last pics. is of a WS? that Jon F and I looked at last time he was here.

We never had plows like this in our neck of the woods, so I know absolutely nothing about them. What kind of horsepower was required to pull such a beast? Did they work on hills? What about rocky ground?

Hope you don t mind me answering a question about the one ways
My expierence was that they pull lots easier that a regular plow . They must work good in rocky soil as I have seen old disk plows in south Mo. where there is lots of rocks.
I have a 3 pt hitch, 5 blade Case one way and it works good in "new" ground with lots of roots.clint

I have one on steel wheels that
s about the same size. I'll try to get pictures this weekend as it's 55 miles away but the tractor club I belong to has its monthly meeting Sunday.

AH, I think you are correct. I missed the crank from the rear of the plow. Was looking more at the lever on the front wheel, rather than a crank. (tunnel vision, I guess). HeHe.
