Question for Super Duty Guys

Havin' a bit of a problem with my tractor hauler... the headlight on the driver's side is really dim when switched on (the one on the passenger side is working fine). These are the aero style lamps, so I went and bought a new halogen bulb today... installed it and... same problem! There's obviously a relay or something not working... any ideas??? Thanks! D

The ground is probably bad. Use a test light on the terminals if it is bright where it goes into the bulb (same as the other light)the ground side is corroded.
If dim there, it needs to be traced back to the fuse block or relay. Bad connections there are also possible. Checking the brightness at the fuse will tell you whether it is in the light, ground direction, or relay system. JimN

Gots to be a bad ground if you've tried more than one element and got the same result.

Electricity and plastic. Who would have guessed? :>)

Whats that plastic plug look like, bet you need a new one? Mine has done the same thing on both sides at one point or another.
