Hey guys, just received this tractor to add to my collection. Anything special I need to look at or check out before I change the oil and see what's happens? Previous owner said it was running not too long ago.

West. That's a good find. Always liked the JD R. Good luck !! I know where Three Rs are and two have cabs. Rotting away in a guys yard.
 
just make sure the pto gears aren't stripped which make the tranny oil pump pump, the pto gears are weak in them as mine were stripped when I got it many many years ago later John ps if it doesn't have pto it will still have the gears
