R&O hydraulic oils....

I will say no you do not want to use it in mobile equipment. R&O oils are more often associated with steam and hydroelectric turbines, also some machining equipment uses. It is not a cure for equipment setting outside.

What are you considering using it in?

It's going in the closed hydraulic system in my NH 1010 bale wagon. It calls for Texaco Regal "A" R&O or Texaco Rando Oil HD "A". I have figured out "A" to be an ISO 32 oil. After some digging, I found they cross to Chevron Regal R&O 32 or Chevron Rando HD 32. There are way cheaper alternatives out there, just using this cross reference as a reference point.

Also..... not asking for the best, cheapest, worst, etc oil either. It will most likely be whatever bang for whatever buck I have at the time. It's also nothing urgent. Thinking ahead to future projects.

If it calls for R&O hydraulic oil, cross it to a brand you want, and use it. Regal A appears to be 32 now.
